MACH SPEED NOODLES

Some incredible images and animation from a new Nissin Cup Noodle commerical directed by Akira and Steamboy creator Katsuhiro Otomo, with a new song by Utada Hikaru can be seen over at the Freedom Project website.

Definitely makes me want a cool motocycle!

Nice find T....it just amazing some of the stuff that comes out of that region.

The screen saver available on the site is a semi hidden gem as it shows some production screen shots then fades into the concept art pics of that shot.

I wonder if this was done in XSI...looks like it from the type of celshading applied..dunno.

This is a cool one.I agree with you,kid...it looks like there is some XSI celshading...kinda reminds me of Appleseed. I could be wrong though.

I haven't found out any first hand info, but I'd go with XSI too, judging by the look and its recent popularity in the anime world. It does have that feel about it.

You know what? This gives me an awesome idea for my movie. Product endorsements inside the movie. The shot of him eating Ramon Noodles was awesome. Can you imagine getting funding by including product shots of things the characters would use. I bet you could get a little funding that way. I'm going to present that to my company and see what they think.

Shawn, I was thinking the whole product endorsement thing could be a tad more complicated...I heard you have to go thru hell to to get that...but like I said, that's what I heard and I never really made any research.
