Thinking Time...

Not to give the idea that I am doing absolutely nothing over here, some work on Occult Salvation is moving forward, but as the title suggests, it's thinking time...
As you know I was very disappointed in my year in reviews for 2003 and have no intention of repeating the mistakes of the past. It's time for real strategy. If nothing else, I have learned an
incredible amount about the business at large during that year. I have seen the potential for the DVD market exponentially bloom. I'm talking about for the indie too! I know there are many steps to take, and this time, I intend to take them correctly.
In the next two weeks I will be wrapping up the
World of Hartz manga project. I am almost finished with the polish and have been admonished to dive into the final chapter of new pages. This is good. The plan seems to be for an April or May release. It will be interesting to see how it all turns out. Here, a year later, after testing many roads, the book seems to have followed the exact course of the "Hearts" film I was originally planning for the Asian market.
The Asian market is key. DVD has exploded to the point that
Video Business Journal claims that market will account for 50% of home video sales of our product in the coming years. Can you imagine?! Occult Salvation is aimed for that market. The key is how to get from the chair I sit in at this very moment, to there. Not necessarily physically, but considering all aspects of getting the show done, out and in the hands of those who would see it.
It's time to really sit and think... (but not for too long.)
